Darren has been a chef for over 20 years. He’s worked as Head Chef with groups such as Piccalino, Executive Chef with Mitchells and Butlers and PCDG, who are the largest restaurant group in the UK, running sites such as the White Hart in Pool, Deer Park in Leeds and Pine Marten in Harrogate. Darren has also worked with the likes of Marco Pierre White and Paul Heathcote to name a few.

Darren has also participated in competitions such as Young Chef of the Year in 2006 and Masterchef the Professionals in 2011. He has a vast knowledge of the the hospitality sector, working with fine dining restaurants like Crown at Roecliffe, Rockcliffe Hall (Darlington) and Raithwaite Estate in Whitby.

Darren also organises cookery demonstrations with organisations like EPE Cookshop in Huddersfield, Peter Maturi in Leeds and Harrogate, Housing Units in Manchester and Waring and Cusinart.
